Network Security Bootcamp
Network Security Bootcamp is specifically designed for network and system administrators in need of a hands-on, all-in-one security course. The class provides comprehensive coverage of effective security techniques in a networked environment. The 5-day class is rigorous, and students should be prepared to work hard, but virtually any administrator with any size organization will be comfortable with the class materials.
Upon completion of Network Security Bootcamp, the student will be able to:
- Understand and be able to apply the twelve principles of security
- Be able to build a secure internet server
- Develop a sound security policy
- Be able to perform forensics on a compromised system
- Be able to monitor for security intrusions
Prerequisites
For best results, students should have beginner administrator level skills on Mac OS X or Unix.
