Ever since Steve Jobs originally announced the iPhone, developers have let their imaginations run free with ideas to create applications that could be run on this small platform. Those ideas have mostly been held at bay as developers have waited for Apple to release the iPhone with the associated software development kit.

This March, the wait ended.

In response, Big Nerd Ranch, Inc. announces the introduction of a revolutionary new iPhone training class, iPhone Bootcamp. The bootcamp, which features instructor Joe Conway, provides the cutting-edge, excellence in instruction for which the Big Nerd Ranch is known, and a legitimate source for iPhone and iPod touch application development for a spectrum of developers.

Students attending the class should know how to program in C and at least one object-oriented language. The class begins with an overview of Objective-C and the Foundation framework, then goes deep on the classes and toolchain that comprise the iPhone UI framework.
