Introducing our newest Ranch at Callaway Gardens

At Big Nerd Ranch, we work hard to consistently provide the best bootcamps we can, and we’re always looking to improve the experience for our students. That’s why, as Director of Global Training Operations, I’m excited to announce that we are moving our Georgia bootcamps to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Ga., beginning in 2015.

Focus on Learning Remains

We will still be the Big Nerd Ranch you know and love. Since 2001, we’ve taught in a monastery, a hotel, and onsite for companies around the world—and at all of them, we’ve brought top-notch training from the best instructors around.

We’ll help you learn in a distraction-free environment, a retreat where you can focus on learning from the very best. You’ll learn from developers and designers who have real-world experience in app development for our clients. You’ll still have the chance to have lab hours and one-on-one time with the instructors, all while learning from and growing with your peers. You’ll get stuck, then get unstuck as you learn to tackle new technologies and encounter a tornado of enlightenment.

The Big Nerd Ranch Experience

You will continue to get the Big Nerd Ranch bootcamp experience you’ve come to expect. Our bootcamps will free you to think of nothing but learning to program. You won’t need to worry about meals, accommodations or transportation to and from the airport—it’s all included in the cost of registration.

For those times you need to clear your head (and quickly), Callaway Gardens offers ziplines and ropes courses, and we’ll still lead afternoon walks so you can relax—then get ready to learn even more.

And while Callaway allows you get away from it all, you can still be connected if you need to be: the property offers a wifi and cell signal throughout, in addition to onsite IT manager to assist with any needs during class and lab time.
