Nerd Sightings: August 2014
Our Nerds are attending and speaking at conferences around the globe. Here’s a roundup of where we’ll be over the next few weeks:
Aug. 1: Mark Dalrymple will present Thoughts on Debugging: What Makes a Good Debugger? at 1:30 p.m. at iOSDevCamp DC.
Aug. 1-3: Blithe Rocher will speak on The Scientific Method of Troubleshooting at eurucamp in Berlin. She presents at noon on Saturday, Aug. 2, and again at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3.
Aug. 7-8: Blithe Rocher will present The Scientific Method of Troubleshooting on Aug. 8 at 2 p.m. at Distill in San Francisco.
Aug. 8-9: Mark Dalrymple will give three talks at CocoaConf Columbus. On Friday, he delivers the opening keynote at 9 a.m., and The Squishier Side to Software Engineering at 4:45 p.m. On Saturday, he presents The Curmudgeon’s Guide to Swift at 10:15 a.m. Sean McCune will also attend this event.
Aug. 15-16: Blithe Rocher will be at Steel City Ruby in Pittsburgh.
Aug. 20-22: Thomas Ward will attend Unite 2014 in Seattle.
Aug. 21-23: Blithe Rocher will speak at Madison+ Ruby.
August 28-29: Travis Douce will present Testing Rails Service Oriented Architecture at RubyConf in Brazil on August 29 at 10:15 a.m.
