We’re excited to announce that our client Roadie has won the Best Mobile Startup Award at the 2016 Atlanta Mobile Awards. Presented by the Atlanta Mobile Marketing Organization (AMMO), the awards celebrate innovation in mobile technology and bring attention to mobile marketing, mobile development and mobile hardware created in Atlanta.

This year, more than 40 companies submitted application for the awards, with over 20 companies competing in the category of Best Mobile Startup. Marc Gorlin, founder and CEO of Roadie, said of the win: “We are thrilled to be recognized among such an impressive group of our peers in Atlanta, crossing every sector of mobile technology from commerce to virtual reality. Big Nerd Ranch worked with Roadie to design and develop both their Android and iOS apps using a solid UX strategy and an architectural foundation that allowed them to get to market quickly. In just six months after launching in January 2015, Roadie celebrated more than 100,00 downloads and currently has earned than 350,000 downloads nationwide.
